Pet grooming is about much more than just stunning good looks! While we love seeing your pups shine, we also understand that grooming is about keeping your pet's cleanliness and appearance up to par. It's best to get your dog accustomed and trained to enjoy grooming while they are still puppies. Although this is not required, if you wait too long to start regularly grooming your pet it may take longer for them to relax during their grooming sessions. This is especially true for ear cleaning and nail clipping. So, when should you start? You can begin grooming your puppy as early as three to four weeks old. BRUSHING Brushing your pet's hair is a great way to remove old and damaged hair, dirt, and pet dandruff. When done on a regular basis it also helps bring out the natural oils in dog fur. Your pet's natural oils are what help give their coat that healthy shine! PET HEALTH Frequent grooming allows us to check your dog for abnormalities. As your pet's personal groomer we are more likely to find fleas, ticks, dry patches, or any issues with your dog's ears, teeth, nails or before you. Most of these issues can be easily treated by a trip to your veterinarian before they have a chance to become serious.
